Rules - The Lounge

The Rules are self Explanatory really. Follow them or you will be issued a warning...

1 ) No spamming....meaning, do not post unnecessary comments in every thread. No back and forth conversations. Take it to PM. Stick to the topic, and only post if you have something valuable to add. Very short posts, for example, one or two words, can also be seen as spam.

2 ) No Bashing, or topics that may lead to bashing. Bashing is basically insulting someone in a harsh manner, or any matter at all, really. Respect the other users

3 ) No controversial topics, In other words, Do not make posts with Religious, Sexual, or any other offensive topics that may lead to issues among users....

4 ) Also, Do NOT make Duplicate topics...if your going to make a thread, scan through the forum and make sure someone has not already made a similar thread. Any similar thread will be deleted.

5 ) Please, try to avoid posting topics that do not allow much room for response by other members. A topic entitled "My cat is orange" will get a) no responses or b) responses like "cool" "sweet" or "who cares", which would rather be avoided. Threads that do not allow much room for discussion will be closed and trashed as soon as they are sniffed out for the spam that they are.

6 ) Do NOT advertise your sites. If you want people to check your site out, put it on your Signature, which can be customized through your profile control panel.

7 ) Birthday Threads are not allowed. Please use the dedicated birthday thread.

8 ) For those new people who want to introduce themselves, please do that in Say Hi!

9 ) Do not make threads saying that you are back. The Lounge isn't the place for it, and It will just get short responses like "welcome back" and that would be it. It can attract spam. Any threads like this will be immediately closed and trashed. If a duplicate is made, expect a warning. Please do not make threads saying that you are leaving either. If you do have a journal, you can take it over there, following the rules of the journal, that is.

10 ) One final thing. Do not advertise your clan in the lounge, you are wasting your time as much as you are wasting ours (the MODS). Any threads promoting a clan in the lounge will be deleted. Do it again, and a warning will find its way home to you.

11 ) No Forum family threads. They are just spam.
