What is Love?

Love - it is a word we are so familiar with. But let me ask you! You people make such a big fuss when you hear the word love. So what does this word mean to you people anyway? What is love? What do you think of it? Is it something good or something bad?

Love, for me, would be a reaction of body, to certain something, mostly opposite gender...
But of course, it does not have to be to woman/man, it can be to a thing, to a pet....

Love, I think, changes the person.... he starts to feel differently, act differently and makes some acts that he would not make.... for example buying something for the other person, writing poems for the other person..... etc...

So, this is my opinion......

Is love not merely a sense of intimacy contrived by a strong sense of belonging?

I remembered that the body releases some kind of hormones (forgot but it's what the body releases when you eat chocolate) which also gives off this sense of love.

^ No wonder I love chocolate soo much....

When you're able to care for the loved one even when he's vomitting or suffers from diarrhoea and still be able to love him when you hear him complaining all day.......then thats love for me!!

in some respects she's actually quite correct as love can cause us to do irrational things that we normally would not even consider.

ok i agree with the above statements.
but this is my opinion we will ll experience love and heartbreak in life to me love is but an intensified liking to someone you get particularity close to.

As for me,love is an emotion coming out from the bottom of our own heart.
It started as liking and then it grows to become love.When we talk about love,we will always think about man and woman,they met each other and then fall in love.But love can also be between human,god,animals and many nonliving things.The only thing that makes them different is how much we love and care about it.

I see so many women being ill treated by their husband and every weekend in the newspaper you can read crime being committed by jealous husband or betrayed wife...and I wonder if its really worth it.....

I think that to love someone is t be able to let him/her go if they want to...
